A dispatch board for the whole shop
Fleet plans now open on a board instead of a calendar: every truck in a column, the whole day in view, and unassigned work waiting on the left. Drag a job to another tech and Arrive re-measures the drive for both of their days before it lets go.
- Unassigned jobs sit in their own column until somebody takes them.
- A move that breaks a promised window says so before it happens.
- Keyboard only, if you would rather: arrow keys move the selection, Enter assigns.

Buffers by hour of day
Drive-time buffers used to be one number per shop. They are now three — before 10 AM, mid-day, and after 3 PM — because a crosstown hop at 4:30 PM is not the drive it was at ten in the morning.
Existing shops keep their single number in all three slots, so nothing moves until you change it. The settings screen shows last month’s actual arrival times beside each band, which is usually enough to pick the numbers in about a minute.

Deposits per service, and refunds in one tap
A deposit is now set on the service rather than the shop, so a first-time clean can ask for $45 while a recurring one asks for nothing.
- The line above the card field is yours to write, and it is the copy that decides whether the booking finishes.
- Refunds are one tap and reach the card in two business days.
- Every deposit shows on the job and is credited on its invoice automatically.

Replies land on the job
When a customer answers a reminder, the message now sits on the job itself instead of only in the thread. Whoever is in the office on Thursday can read what was promised on Tuesday.
One-letter replies got stricter too: an R opens a reschedule request for a human to accept, and never moves an appointment on its own.

Skills and certifications per tech
Some work only two people in the shop are allowed to do. Mark a service as needing a skill, mark the techs who hold it, and the booking page stops offering that job to anybody else.
Certifications can carry an expiry date. Arrive emails the owner three weeks before one lapses and quietly stops booking that service for that tech the day it does.

Fixed
Calendar sync, both directions, in a minute
Two-way sync with Daybook and Sundial now settles inside 60 seconds in both directions. Personal appointments block a slot the moment they are created, and a job moved in Arrive moves in the calendar the tech actually looks at.
- All-day events no longer block a whole working day unless they are marked busy.
- A declined invitation releases the time instead of holding it.
- Recurring personal events sync as a series rather than 52 separate holds.
